In her early years, Mother Earth was always a sober, calm little babe.

Then, at a ripe young age of 2200 million years-old, some pre-historic hashers introduced her to the nectar of the gods…. BEER.

In that moment, Mother Earth was born again – as the original “hot mess”, binge-drinking tectonic plates and booze like no planet had ever done before.  Her atmosphere quickly transformed – 21% oxygen, 100% wasted.

Now here we are, 2200 million years (and 2200 billion beers) later, in

the week of Earth Day, celebrating her 2nd 2200-millionth birthday.

And as all drunk planets would do after drinking 2200 billion beers, Ms. Earth’s gone and lost all her shit…. That’s right, all FOUR of her earthly elements have gone missing.  Right here in our very own BEIJING.

This Friday evening, it’s up to us Beijing Hash House Harriers to find Mother Earth’s four earthly elements and return them to her, before some muggles cum and drink them right up!

Hare’s note:  This will be the third Earth Day hash in as many years to involve a scavenger hunt on trail, searching for drinkable treats related to Earth, Air, Fire, & Water.

It’s also the 2,200th run of the Beijing Hash House Harriers!!
