Foxhunting: An entertainment classic among the infoxicated elites for centuries. Why outlaw it now! Tally-Ho, we say!

A fox was spotted roaming the wide grasslands of Chaoyang park. Unlike many of its kind, this particular fox likes a good shot, especially when served with salt and lemon.
This is why a skilled cocktail hare will be accompanying our expedition to lay traps and attract the attention of the fox.

There is no need to embark on this hunt on horseback. Even the tipsiest of hunters will have the opportunity to bring the fox to bay if they follow the marks!
(Warning: Of course the hariettes of the Beijing Foxes Hash do not encourage any actual foxhunting. Our special fox-shaped trail is an homage to our spirit animal and only its outlines will be captured (in your preferred running app))
Dresscode: Tan, beige, buff or canary breeches and white strong or brown leather gloves.. just joking! No special hunting outfit required. Your favourite hash shirt will suffice.

As usual, this is an adult activity in which we behave like children so expect to see nonsense, licentiousness, a modest level of drunkenness and considerable rude behaviour going on. And partial nudity. Don’t be offended; it’s jocular, we’re always like that and if you’re here you’re doing it too. For all of those reasons this isn’t a kid-friendly activity so – unless you’re table 1 – best stay home. More regular members of society are of course very welcome and can of course take part, but be polite, be tolerant, don’t be purposefully rude and remember that if you’re running there’s no winner.
Who are the Beijing Foxes?
We are the harriettes of the Beijing hash. Like our mythical fox spirit sisters (狐狸精), we are mischievous and alluring. We roam the hutongs of Beijing and sip wine under the stars.
