Beijing Full Moon H3 #201 Mad as a Ha(tt/sh)er
It’s getting curiouser and curiouser as the Beijing Full Moon Hash is hosting a wild and whimsical Alice in Wonderland-themed hash run! Follow the White Rabbit down winding trails and chase after flour marks through a mad world of nonsense and fun. Just like Alice, you are advised to take sips from curious bottles with the label “drink me” on them in an attempt solve all of your problems and plenty of madness will be provided for your entertainment. Join us for a game of flamingo croquet or tea pong as we journey through Wonderland’s twists and turns. What’s tea pong, you’re asking?
Ah, tea pong! A curious game indeed, much like a tea party hosted by the Mad Hatter—only this time, instead of tea, it’s a rather peculiar beverage called yanjing beer, and instead of cups, well… you have tea cups, that are arranged in a most delightful triangle!
The rules, you ask? They’re as whimsical as Wonderland! Two teams, as mad as a Running Hare, face off across a table with a triangle of tea cups filled with mysterious liquid. Each player takes turns tossing a bouncing ball into the other team’s cups, though the ball seems to have a mind of its own, twisting like the Cheshire Cat. When a ball lands in a cup—*poof!*—the cup vanishes, and the opponent must drink. As the cups disappear, the madness grows, until one side has none left. The winners rejoice, while the losers ponder their fate, just like the Queen’s subjects hearing, *“Off with their heads!”* (head? Who said head? I want some of that!)
