Boxer #238 Shake it Off on the Great Wall

Taylor Swift, born on December 13th, 1989 was once just a young girl with a dream of sharing her music with the world. Today she is one of the biggest recording artists of all time and a global phenomenon unlike any other in history.
With 4 Album of the year Grammy awards, hundreds of millions of albums sold along with millions if not Billions of devoted fans, Taylor has time and time again proved the influence and power of her music and persona.
Taylor’s music is rooted in positivity, fun, and her own interpretation of femininity which makes her feel both authentic and relatable to many and why so many Swifties stay loyal to her through thick and thin.
After concluding the Eras tour and filling massive stadiums all around the world there is now absolutely no doubt that Taylor’s impact on culture and humanity is unstoppable.
However, when you reach the stratospheric heights as Taylor has envy, resentment, and hate are always quick to follow.
There are those that see a powerful woman succeeding and feel threatened and defensive.
They feel miserable that they are unable to truly let loose, let their hair down, and be the Fearless spirit that they so desperately aspire to.
At Boxer 238 we are going to ignore the haters and dance, hike, and drink beer until all of our jealous exes are just a Blank Space in our memories.
Hashers Assemble!
Strap on your trail shoes and prepare for an epic adventure as we take on the majestic Chenjiabao section of the Great Wall in Hebei Province! This isn’t your average Sunday jog—it’s a full-blown escapade through ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, and a touch of the divine.
The Trail: Where History Meets Hilarity
Our route takes us along a rugged, wild stretch of the Great Wall, originally constructed during the Northern Qi Dynasty (550–577 AD). Expect towering walls averaging 7.8 meters in height, with some sections reaching up to 14 meters, and a width of about 6 meters—plenty of space for our shenanigans.
Midway, the wall throws in a dramatic switchback, challenging even the most seasoned hashers. But fear not! For every uphill battle, there’s a downhill reward (and probably a beer check).
Save the Date
Mark your calendars and prepare your liver. This is one hash you won’t want to miss!
