Think twice before telling any Harriettes to close their legs. That fishy odor wafting through the air is because the Sturgeon moon is upon us!

For those of you who don’t know, sturgeons are a family of massive, 150 million-year-old fish that look like they speak in riddles and should wear top hats and monocles. What look like mustaches are actually tactile organs dangling near the mouth (lol).

As the dog days of Summer began to give way to cooler temperatures, the Algonquin fishing tribes converged on the Great Lakes to hunt and harvest these aforementioned freaky-looking fish. And just like our North American homies of yore, we will congregate by the waters of our fair city to pay homage to these behemoth living fossils.

It is worth mentioning Sturgeon are prized for their caviar. But do you really think a bunch of degenerate hashers are worthy of such a bougie and soFISHticated indulgence? Cum along to what is sure to be a FINtastic run to find out!
