The shitty hares have prepared a special World Cup-winning trail through the perennial foreigner-favourite Lido area. The shitty trail will take you into leafy parks, along broad tree-lined avenues, and with beer stops at northeastern Chaoyang’s finest convenience stores.
We will have a game stop in Side Park and play World Cup-themed games with the victorious hashers winning eternal fame and glory! Test out your lupine football skills and live eternally in Beijing hashtory and lore!
Aaaaas we know (as we know!), it’ll be a special anniversary for the Beijing Full Moon Hash too – our 222nd run! It has been exactly 222 runs since the Beijing FMH was founded one moonlit evening in early May 2007 by our very own Dazed & Confused and Trixi Scuba. Running every Full Moon since then, we’ll celebrate this milestone the only way we know how – by getting drunk! Oh, and as it’ll be run #222, wear a tutu!
Our very own Full Moon apothecary Bloody Butt Precise has brewed up the perfect sports drink to hydrate you during the game stop and keep you alert late into the night. Hashrumour has it, Diego Maradona was expelled from the 1994 World Cup for drinking this very concoction…
The Full Moon in June is known as the Full Strawberry Moon as it traditionally signals the start of strawberry season and the ripening of berries. Berries are round. What else is round, you ask? Footballs!
