April’s Boxer had hashers all riled up about Slippery when Wet and Cream π’s shiggy and shitty trail. So for the Summer heat of June we’re trimming the bushes to keep things nice and smooth. We’re off for a second attempt at Boxer 219 for a wet and wild adventure in the mountains of PingGu around the lake and with plenty of cold beer.
It all goes down in Pinggu next to Jinhai Lake, located two hours east of Beijing. Both trails are well paved on lush hills embracing Jinhai Lake and dotted with pavilions, rock formations, caves, historical spots. Dog friendly and should be easy&chill for elders too. If you get dry/hot on the trail, you can jump in the lake and swim.

Running trail – appx 13km, elevation gain around 300m
Walking trail – appx 7km, elevation gain around 200m
