The Grand Beijing Duck Lilo Race is back! The most hotly anticipated event of the year returns for its third ever edition! What better way to celebrate this fine city that we call home than combining iconic Beijing institutions – Peking Duck, delicious local Yanjing beer, and cooling off in the Liangma River on a hot summer’s night – all into a hashy amalgamation of mischief and fun?
The Grand Beijing Duck Lilo Race will have hashers race across the scenic Liangma River on inflatable yellow ducks, using every last tool at their disposal to be the first to cross the finish line winning eternal fame and glory. Who will be the most aeroducknamic hasher to lift this aquacktic trophy and secure their place in Beijing hashtory and lore?
Look out Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, Danica Patrick, and Tadej Pogačar – there will be a new GOAT racer crowned this Friday.
We will hold the race across Liangma River on our duck lilos and have the beer stop further downstream. The first hasher to arrive to the beer stop without falling off their duck will be declared the righteous winner of The Grand Beijing Duck Lilo Race 2026! Circle will then be held in the river floating on our ducks with our friendly land-based hashers lobbing cold beers at us.
All those that participate in The Grand Beijing Duck Lilo Race will receive an exclusive The Grand Beijing Duck Lilo Race patch, signifying their elite rank among the hashcollective.
You do not have to participate in the race or get in the water, hashers are also welcome to cum along and just watch the race. However, only those that participate in the race will receive the patch.
Aaaaas we know (as we know!), the Full Moon in July is known as the Buck Moon because the antlers of bucks are in full-growth mode at this time. Hashologists have demonstrated a tentative link between the size of bucks’ antlers and the size of hashers’ beer staffs with sexual prowess.
Additionally, our very own Full Moon Hash apothecary Bloody Butt Precise has concocted limited edition Canned COCKtails to give you the extra boost you need to speed across the Liangma River on your trusty duck steed.
We will have a few inflatable ducks available to use for the race. However, if you want to make sure you have a duck lilo to race on, please order one on Taobao asap to get it delivered before Friday.
Please reuse your duck lilo from last year’s race if you still have it to reduce waste.
