This week it’s a Paddy’s Hash Bash,and therefore the duty of every hasher to attend.
May the absent-again RA summon idyllic weather and FREE BEER FOR ALL THE HASHERS to kick off the On On After at Paddy’s, our revered Hash Bar, to usher the Old Timer 69er ever closer to her 8th decade!
Your unvenerable hares this week come from the school of thought that haring and hashing should not be challenging, and with that driver in mind, have plotted a leisurely stroll for the walkers, jolly jaunt for the “runners” – no urban shiggy on this trail – deep into the immediate vicinity of Donzhimen. A trail of average length and less than average endeavour, paved and depraved, will lead the way to the keg of liquid gold at the end of the rainbow; it will be direct and without peril.
So cum, you band of derelict misfits – earn your passage to the frothy golden liquid that will await our descent on Paddys, where everything will be a drinking offense and every offense will be drunk to in an evening of unabashed, swashbuckling fun.
Those who will want to satisfy their hunger for food might care to choose from Roots fare or perhaps Asian fusion or good old Irish staples. Those who merely want to sample the liquid offerings of the tavern will be in luck … your first couple of rounds of beer will be FREE at the On On After. Those who seek satisfaction for their carnal hunger are advised to, well, take matters into their own hands.
