As we know, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ spread his gospel and was crucified for it at the age of 33. Two days later he was joyfully and jubilantly resurrected on what is now celebrated as Easter Sunday.

A similar figure spreads the Gospel of Beijing Hash House Harriers far and wide known as Pukelid’s Taxivomitry. His message of beer and debauchery, while championed by many, has grown ire from a few who fear the power of a Messiah drunk on the adulation of his followers as well as excessive amounts of booze.

Pukelid’s Taxivomitry, like Jesus Christ at the time of his death, is 33 years old and has been similarly crucified for his love of beer and hashing.

However on Sunday the beer will flow again with the resurrection of Pukelid’s Taxivomitry’s debauchery and a celebration of all things Easter.

HE HAS RISEN!!!!!

As usual, this is an adult activity in which we behave like children so expect to see nonsense, licentiousness, a modest level of drunkenness and considerable rude behaviour going on. There may be vomiting on this occasion. Don’t be offended; we’re always like that and if you’re here you’re doing it too. For all of those reasons this isn’t a kid-friendly activity so – unless you’re table 1 – best stay home. More regular members of society are of course very welcome and can of course take part, but be polite, don’t be purposefully rude and remember that if you’re running there’s no winner.
