The bad news for those who will be in Beijing for some time, is that the smog haze is not likely to succumb within the next 15 years so you can go buy shares in 3M cos their masks will continue to sell well. But the good news for Hashers is that the smog doesn’t affect the beer taste and we are survivors, so keep on fighting with air pollution and keep healthy. In the great Hash traditions we should run and and pray for the wind, rain, or anything that will help to reduce the harmful smog to a bearable level but beware that summer is around the corner which will bring the searing temperatures and humidity, just to make our jolly jaunts a little more testing.
