One year ago, the frigid Mongolian wind blew a young Harriette into town. She plonked her suitcases down in Liangmaqiao and went out into greater Beijing looking for some similarly virtuous companions with whom she could engage in wholesome activities such as strolling through parks and choir practice. As luck would have it, on that very first day she fell in with an altogether rougher crowd who call themselves the Beijing Hash House Harriers. Having inadequate life experience to protect herself from the half-minds, drunkards, and wankers, she was soon encircled and corrupted by this tribe.
