‘Twas the day after Hashmas, when all through Beijing
Not a hasher was stirring, not even Gobblin’ King.
The trail will be set by the hares with great care,
In the hopes that hashers soon will be there.

The hashers were nestled all snug in their beds,
With visions of Hashmas stamped in their heads.
But Banana shoes in her ‘kerchief, and Schtuup in his cap,
Had just left to hare after their short winter’s nap,

Whilst out on the lawn arose another hasher.
Slept in a bush did Up the Butt. With the cold did he chatter.
Away to lay trail, he flew like a flash,
And raced to the subway whilst feeling like trash.

The sun on their breast on this hungover day
And wanting to vomit, there’s a trail to lay!
When, what to their wondering eyes should appear,
But Buddy’s, a hospital, and a fuck-tonne of beer!

Arrives does our RA, all groggy and sleezy,
I knew in a moment it must be our Cheezy.
More sluggish than zombies, his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name;

“Now, SLIM SHADY! now, KIDDIEPOO! now, KARATE! PRO BONER!
On on WHACKS IT! On on LOOSE LIPS! On on, STILETHOE and SUPER SQUIRTER!
To the end of the road! To the top of the hill!
Now hash away! Hash away! Try not to be ill!”

As runners leave on their frigid cold journey
Met with On Ons, Oh Shits and open checks a plenty.
Up to the beer-stops the hashers they flew,
With Schtuupwaffle the hare, and St. Nicholas, (otherwise known as Up the Butt), too.

And then, in a twinkling, they get to the beer.
Where the hungover hashers can drink themselves dear
As they draw in their hands, and they take a big sip,
Their hangovers vanish and they continue their trip!

They spring in to circle, for awards and accusations,
With more and more beer to attend their salivation.
But I heard them exclaim, as they didi’d out of sight,
“ON PADDIES TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!”
