Some might say it’s glorious, some might say it’s tragic, but for sure it’s an eventful day! Blister Fister is celebrating his birfday! Herr Splashy Pants is fucking off!!! Well, he’s been fucking off for some time now, so in order to make sure it actually happens, you better show up and make your voice heard – I guess there’s power in numbers!

To properly celebrate this strange combination of events, the hares have decided to take you through a place few have hashed before – our glorious CBD business district around Guomao! While you might have images in your head of buildings touching the sky, large avenues cutting through the urban landscape and the glaring sun reflecting off of shiny glass facades…. you will be surprised to see post modern industrial style gardening architecture, abandoned parks, and the 798 of CBD. All of this will be topped off by dinner in one of the oldest restaurants in Beijing!

    It’s almost 900m from the closest metro stop, sorry about that! Take line 10 to Jintai Xizhao Metro station, Exit D. Go south for about 350m until you arrive at Guanghua Road. Turn right, walk for another 500m until you cross Jintong East Road. The next SMALL street turn left (there’s a golden building with a metal bull statue in front on the south side of the street – see picture) and walk for another 100m.
